Even though I'm only a day older than yesterday, and only a year is added onto my age, I think I like the 22-year-old version of the single, still-haven't-graduated, still-living-at-home, me, a lot better.

In my household, March is (hands down) the most anticipated and the most important month out of the entire year. More so than Christmas, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Spring Break, or even Summer break. No, the time of the year I have always looked forward to most, is March Madness.

In my mind, happiness is what fills us; what keeps us full. We can't run properly if our tank of happiness is full of something we WANT to make us happy, or THINK will make us happy.

I had everything the world says you need to be happy. Don't get me wrong, I have lived a very happy life, and I am beyond blessed with the friends and family I've been given. But that inner longing remained. When would it stop? When would I fill that void? What would I fill it with?
